Hi Members and Friends,
Very good conditions! And the rain stayed away!
Absent for some years, former Member – Ozzie, put in a solid performance to win the 7.6km section, despite minimal training opportunities due to health issues. The Handicapper produced his best effort for some time, just edging out Max (a PB) in a serious “head-to-head.” Two more PBs from Sue and Brian! Vernise and Paul (with a new paddle) tried as hard as ever! Also resuming, David also delivered a PB! Close behind, was the rest of the field.
Heading the 11.35km field was Andrew McMaster, with Marni and Russell a few seconds behind, having improved over a minute! Mick B. also improved a minute. Another PB for Marnie F. Good performances for the rest of the field.
Thank you Timekeepers – Margaret and Diana – and all who helped out today.
Rob and Paul won the Lucky Prizes.
