Results from Winter Series Race 3,11th August 2019
A wild day, with plenty of wind!
Naturally, all times were slower than usual, except David Hopkins, who almost equalled his time last race!
A busy few weeks ahead, with the final Round of the PaddleNSW Marathon Series at Teralba, on Saturday, 24th August.
Followed by the Interclub Competition between Brisbane Water Paddlers, Hunter Valley Paddlesports Club and Central Coast Paddlers on Saturday, 31st August.
Then, the inaugural 30km Wyong River Ultra, with the first lap of 17km, followed by a 13km lap. We are seeking a couple of volunteers in the “Office” – assistant Timekeepers and Spotters.

Finally – a correction to my assumption regarding Max Lyons’ retirement from the recent PaddleNSW State Race at Windsor. It was due to mechanical failure! Sorry Max!
