Hi Members and Friends,
Great conditions, good roll-up and exciting racing!
The crack racing team of Margaret and Rob, produced a nearly five year PB (at Wyong), in preparation for this year’s Hawkesbury Classic. We applaud Alan, who will be their Land Crew, and wish them success!
Ken started well and earned his best effort here, in three and a half years!
Vernise and Paul were also inspired to return a PB! Trent unleashed his talent, and surprised the Handicapper with a PB! The “under raced” Michael, still managed a solid performance. Sue improved on her PB last race! Not to be “left out,” Russell was within eighteen seconds of his PB! Despite missing some four races, Ozzie also performed well. The Handicapper managed to take a few seconds off his time last race. President Ray didn’t disappoint – neither did Noel. Marnie was only two seconds over her PB in the last race! David was closest to “handicap time.” The consistent Malcolm was also close to handicap time. Andrew was disappointed with his time, but he has not been paddling that long. Max was disappointed with his time, also, but he has been “up north” – volunteering, so is to be commended. John, Alan and Cam were “not at their best,” and will be looking for improvement next time.
We wish Clive and Rob a speedy recovery.
