2025-08-10 CCP Winter Series Race 03

Hi Members and Friends,
Showers and some sunshine, but very little wind, with some flow downstream from the recent rain.
Allan used his many years of river paddling to advantage, in his win today – avoiding the adverse current where possible. Ken was not optimistic, but surprised himself with his effort. Russell and Trevor overcame their balance worries to produce a satisfying time. Ozzie, Marnie, Sue and David all put in solid performances. Lee Kirk, visiting from BWP, had the fastest time, in his beautiful, blue Vega ski. John was not troubled by the rain either.
A reminder that Covid is still around – one of our “Regulars” (who pulled out this morning) has since learned that recent contacts have now tested positive! Good call, mate!
