Hi Members and Friends,

Glorious day to be alive – and good paddling conditions, except for the now notorious Salvinia Molesta weed! A slight flow bringing a little more weed downstream all the time! Then, the prevailing breeze distributes it in large patches, sometimes, across the River, making it almost impossible to dodge – important when you are paddling a square bowed craft. It is only thinly dispersed – mainly an eyesore!
Great to see Ken shave over a minute and a half off his second time in the Horizon Flyer!
Also displaying great tenacity, was Paul and Vernise, who also scored a PB, reducing their best time by almost a minute!
I couldn’t catch John, who repeated his time of last race! (within three seconds).
David almost repeated his time in the last race, to just hold out the fast finishing Mick, with Cam and Rob finishing soon after.
The “Professional Timekeepers” were back in action today – thank you Diana and Marg! The Lucky Prizes were won by Cam and Diana.
