Hi Members and Friends,

We were blessed with a fine day and good conditions on the River, with just a gentle flow out.
The control booms that the Council are using with works on removing the Salvinia weed above the weir, seem to be working, as there was very little weed evident in the vicinity of Lions Park.
There were some comments that it was a “slow” day, and for most, that was the case.
Except for Sue, who improved her time by a minute 38 seconds, and John, who recorded a “two year PB!”
We welcomed visitors from Port Stephens to Brisbane Water, for some close racing, and socialising afterwards.
