2023-06-04 CCP Summer Series Race 08

Hi Members and Friends,

In defiance of some weather predictions, there was no rain, and very little wind at Lions Park, Wyong, and for most of the course, though there was some wind on the Tacoma “straight.” There was only a light shower, well after the finish.

Clive and Ozzie had a thrilling finish, with Allan third, in the 7.62km.

Visitors Troy and Mick were first, in a photo finish, with “our” Mick a gallant second in the 11.35km. Mick’s performance was notable, as he did not get much sleep, having been to the victorious Mariner’s game in Parramatta.

We wish to know who wants to race next Sunday – the Long Weekend.
Let us know by 6:30pm, Wednesday, 7th.
If there are insufficient Entries, we will abandon the date.
