2022-03-22 CCP Summer Series Race 4

Hi Members and Friends,

A great day at Wyong – fairly still with minimal flow.

A warm welcome to new Members – Andrew McMaster and Vernise & Paul Davis!

Warwick surprised with a one year PB, and Nathan improved, despite little, or no, training!

Andrew McMaster showed promise in his debut paddle.

“The Squad” demonstrated disciplined training techniques, finishing in formation!
There was some impressive hardware on display – easier on the “back” than the bank balance!

With the interruption to training, caused by the rain, with some flooding, the Committee decided to reschedule the already postponed, (Covid19), 2021 30km to June 12th. We plan two 15km laps – despite the fallen trees upstream! (last year’s flood!)
We are still enthusiastic and optimistic, despite the prediction of more rain and rising case numbers! Try to keep safe!
