2018 Interclub Perpetual Trophy, 1st July hosted by Central Coast Paddlers

2018 Inter Club Perpetual Trophy.

Sunday 1stJuly Lions Park, Panonia Rd, Wyong,  hosted by  

                           Central Coast Paddlers.                                   

             7.58km and 11.35km distances, Wyong River.

$5.00 Entry per paddler for PNSW members, includes morning tea, coffee and nibbles.

 

Clubs please notify intended entries to Central Coast Paddlers Secretary by midday Friday 29thJune – centralcoastpaddlers@gmail.com– late entries can cause undue last minute extra work for the organizers.                                  

Lifejackets are required for this event.

8:00am – 12:00am program for mornings events.

8:00am entry desk open, public toilet access and boat marshalling.

8:45am entry desk closed and pre-race briefing.

9:00am start.

9:55am estimated finish 7.45km.

10:35am estimated finish 11:35km.

11:15am Presentation and morning tea.

12:00am program close.

Race Format for Interclub

  • There will be a 7.58km, and an 11.35km course.
  • Clubs to nominate which division their paddlers will enter, but may be reallocated, fairly, if considered inappropriate. It is intended that Competitors would ideally finish within the “speed description” for each Division.
  • Division starts approx. 1 minute apart.
  • Starting order will be H, (9:00am) J, K, L, M. A, (9:15am) B, C, D, E, F, G,
  • 35km –
  • Division A will be over 12kph
  • Division B  5kph >12.0kph
  • Division C 11kph > 11.5kph
  • Division D  5kph > 11.0kph
  • Division E 0kph > 10.5kph
  • Division F  5kph > 10.0kph
  • Division G  0kph > 9.5kph
  • 58km –
  • Division H  over    5kph
  • Division J  0kph > 10.5kph
  • Division K  5kph > 10.0kph
  • Division L 0kph > 9.5kph
  • Division M 5kph > 9.0kph
  • Points will be allocated as below –
  • 1st in each Division will receive 10 points
  • 2nd from a different club in each Division will receive 9 points
  • 3rdin from a different club in each Division will receive 8 points
  • …..and so on, depending on number of Clubs.
  • 1 point for each “non placing” club member who competes.
  • Example: 1st  HVPC 10 points

2nd   HVPC

3rd   CCP 9 points

4th   CCP

5th   BWP 8 points    etc.

  • Points will be added at the end of racing, from each Division, to reach Club placings.
