2026-03-15 CCP Summer Series Race 04

Hi Members and Friends,
A lovely day at Wyong, today – great conditions for racing.
The only Visitor, Jenny, improved a couple of minutes to just hold out the fast finishing Rob, with the untried duo of Marnie and Trevor, third – who also excelled!
Congratulations, Jenny! Fourth, was the “old fox,” Ken, who improved nearly two and a half minutes on his last race! Trent, and Malcolm also revelled in the conditions. Sue found a PB, and Andrew did his best time since May last year. John reduced his time by nearly a minute. Allan was about average, in his first race here, this year. Noel also found a PB! Max improved a few seconds, while the Cook duo were only a few seconds off their average. Mick maintained his good form, as did Alan. Marni was happy with her performance – having raced yesterday, at Windsor (as did others.) Thank you, Margaret, for managing the Starting, Finishing, and Catering, virtually by yourself (I was not much help – apologies!) Thank you, Rob, and others, for help with packing up. To those racing at Lane Cove on the 29th – have a successful day – fuel supplies notwithstanding!
