Great to be at the Park as usual! Congratulations to Central Coast Council who have restored it, following illegal, messy, occupation by some campers!

Good conditions, though very humid, and the water is still a bit brown.

Rob was first, despite battling ongoing “injury!” I surprised myself – managing to match him to the line. Andrew and Trent had a fierce contest, in a pretty good time, for “resuming.” Marnie, and Noel maintained last year’s form. Clive is also carrying “injury,” and Max disclosed that he hasn’t paddled since last year! Trevor volunteered for a harder handicap, and was “rewarded” with a PB! Well done! Surprised to see John “on deck,” following his accidental injury last year. He said that he appreciated the little card that we sent him. (see pic). David did well, but Russell was not at his best! Sue was paddling a different K1, which probably didn’t suit her. I think we all found the humidity “tiring,” to say the least. Next race, eh!
