2026-08-30 CCP Winter Series Race 05

Hi Members and Friends,
We were blessed with a glorious day! Cam had his best performance since May last year. Rob improved on his last race, and Marnie and Sue had their fastest time in the new double. Malcolm improved over two minutes on his last race, while Nick lost nearly a minute. Ken repeated his good time, Russell and Meredith also lost nearly a minute. Mick showed he still “has it!” John and Trevor “felt it,” but didn’t give in! We all survived the antics of the “Aluminium Heros.” Made plans for a bit of River clearing, and accepted a couple of early entries in the 30km Race, 27th September. Diana and Margaret “looked after” us, as usual – Thank You, Ladies! Wishing David, Kent, and Ozzie, a “Get Well Soon!”
Malcolm and Ken won the Lucky Prizes. All helped with cleaning up.
