2026-07-19 CCP Winter Series Race 02

Hi Members and Friends,
A fine day! Much appreciated! Just a bit of breeze. Allan caught the Handicapper “napping!” – and took full advantage of it! Very good paddle, Allan! Russell and Meredith improved a couple of minutes since their only other outing here, to record a solid second. John battled on stoically for a third – to his surprise! Noel is finding his form, and Marnie and Sue also surprised themselves – with a PB! The Handicapper had an average performance, as did Rob, Ken, Andrew and Trevor. Marg and Rob have not been in the SLR for a considerable time. David is suffering from a long term injury. Timekeepers, Diana and Margaret, did their usual superb job – despite equipment failure! David and Rob won the Lucky Prizes. Let’s hope we can get a bit more time “on the water!” It is such an excellent, and safe, way to get exercise! Regardless of age.
