2026-04-26 CCP Summer Series Race 07

Hi Members and Friends,
A lovely day for paddling, but it was a stressful start for the “Office Staff,” with not one, but two vehicle failures at once! (which were overcome, with Family co-operation.) The photographer was caught “napping” – apologies! Numbers were swelled by some high quality, but late entries, to make an interesting field. At least six, maybe seven, “personal bests!” Thank you Allan Newhouse, for the three photos from the appropriately named “Paddle with a Legend” Event at the Canberra Nationals. (pics 1, 2 and last – labelled ‘Canberra Nationals’). Talking about “Legends,” how about the pic of the tattoo featuring the logo of the original Central Coast Canoe Club, (now CCP), sported by Ozzie! Thank you Diana and Margaret – a great day, despite the early difficulties!
