Hi Members and Friends,

Quite a nice day! The 10 to 15 kph SW breeze seemed innocent enough, but was tough going from the Coop Buoy to Charlton Island. Most times were greater than last race, with the exception of Visitor Lee Kirk and Member Max Lyons. Max shaved three seconds off his Race 4 time, but Lee carved 71 seconds off his Race 3 time – a PB I believe! Great effort, Lee! Most times today were from 30 to 118 seconds slower than last race. The “unpopular Flu” was also a factor today – commiserations to those so affected – we wish you a speedy recovery!
Thank you Diana and Margaret – faultless contribution! And thank you, especially Andrew and Rob who led the Volunteers today. Lucky Prize winner was David. Gratified so many could attend today – the future is so uncertain! Keep paddlin’!
