2024-11-24 CCP Winter Series Race 10
Hi Members and Friends,
Fine, but warm!
The final race for the year was notable for the many personal struggles and triumphs!
Despite being “lightly raced,” Cam really “put it in” today!
Sue was within a few seconds of her best!
Russell had his best time for several months.
Marni also was close to her PB.(so wanted to catch Russell !)
A “model of determination” – Ken produced a PB !
Kent was rewarded for his hard training, with a PB.
Rob, and David, paddled despite still suffering from their colds.
Mick, and Andrew, did their usual good times, and seemed happy with their performances.
The consistent Max, was within a few seconds of his best time.
Vernise and Paul raced in the Club TK2 machine for the first time, and succeeded in finishing without swimming – a good effort. It was the first time Vernise did the steering, too !
Michael is having an ongoing battle to get comfortable in a “new” K1 – finding a comfortable seat can be as difficult as it is vital !
Thank you Timekeepers – Diana and Margaret, also Rob and Cam, and all the helpers, for a successful year !
