Results for CCP Summer Series Race 1, 21st January 2018
Good conditions, if a bit hot on the way back, for our first Sunday Club Series race for 2018.
Anne Moore led the 11.35km field home, with a 22month PB!
Ray Weekes recorded an outright PB, despite three wins at the State Sprints yesterday!

Cam Tunbridge, Mick Carroll, Max Lyons and Gina Weekes were all within one minute of handicap time. The rest of the field were not far behind suggesting that a fair bit of training has been going on during the festive season.
Visitor, Andrew Wilkinson, paddling a K1, was second, in the excellent time of 54:30. Congratulations, Andrew!
I was asked to look up some “old times” and can report that our own Aidan Shipton has recorded a 53:29 for the 11.35km. Interesting?
President Steve Hill, John Wood and James Sealy were just ahead of handicap time, with Nick and David completing the field in the 7.58km section.
