WYONG RIVER ULTRA 30th August

Due to direction from the NSW Health Department to PaddleNSW, and consequently from PaddleNSW to Central Coast Paddlers, the Wyong River Ultramarathon to be held on Sunday,  30th August can only be attended by persons resident in the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie districts.

Visitors are most welcome (as long as they live on the Central Coast or Lake Macquarie) and all competitors must be registered with PaddleNSW.

The entry fee is $5 and is payable on the day.  Please try to provide the correct money to avoid handling other people’s coins and notes.

The race will now be treated as a normal club race, which means the start/finish will be at Lions Park on Panonia Rd, Wyong (instead of at Tacoma, as originally planned), and the use of buoys will be minimal.

There are three distance options  – approximately 30kms, 15kms and 7.5km.

Please email your entry information  (your name, paddle craft, race distance) to the Secretary at centralcoastpaddlers@gmail.com by Saturday 29th August.

Please maintain social distancing.  Results will not be announced immediately after the race so that mingling can be avoided.  They will instead be placed on the club’s website  http://centralcoastpaddlers.org.au/ .
