Better weather than predicted?
Reasonably good paddling conditions, despite some lingering “run out,” making the “home run” feel harder!
Despite this, “Wonder Woman” (Gina Weekes) improved her time, yet again!
Congratulations on a most deserved PB, Gina!
Balancing the “gender scales”, Cam Tunbridge also earned a PB today! Congratulations, Cam!
Seriously threatening his own PB, Mick Carroll finished one second ahead of Cam, for fastest time today.
In a well timed return to “form” – first over the line, was Jack and Jenny Ward, – as the convincing win was the first race witnessed by Jack’s lovely Mother, Dawn, who was visiting the Coast today!
“Almost PBs” were recorded by Shannon Hile, Guy Holloway & Charly Wellard, and Heidi Duncan.

Club Members wished Cam Tunbridge, and his intended, Lyn Crelly, best wishes for their Wedding in early May. Pres. Steve presented Cam with a bottle of “bubbly” to help them celebrate the joyous occasion.
Keep an eye out for video of an Ocean paddle yesterday, organised by our Owen Walton, from Swansea to “Shark Hole” which will be available soon on the Club’s website.
Safe paddle at Lane Cove next Sunday, and do try to “car pool!”
