2025-06-01 CCP Summer Series Race 09

Hi Members and Friends,
Sunshine! Good paddling conditions – some flow, and the grounds had dried out.
Good improvement, and probable PB, for Allan, but the distance was approximate, as the Buoy was moved by the flood. First outing here, for the very experienced paddler, – Noel – welcome to CCP! Equal PB for Malcolm! Kent is still “on the comeback trail!” One of Marni’s better times, lately. Gil improved 30 seconds. Marnie was testing out another ski. Marg would not be unhappy with her time in the TK1, nor would David in his Ski. Rob is another “on the comeback trail!” Russell would be “philosophical” about his time today.
Thank you to the “Office Team” – Diana and Margaret. David grabbed the shovel and “tidied up” the muddy “Steps,” after the flood – good job, David. Gil and Noel helped load up the gear.
Kent, and Marg, won the Lucky Prizes.
