Hi Members and Friends,
Overcast, but perfect conditions for paddling – in contrast to yesterday!
Vernise & Paul returned to form – almost a PB!
Clive also surprised the Handicapper!
Michael achieved a well deserved PB!
Rob, Cam and John are on “the comeback trail!”
Ken’s PB was also well deserved!
It was a bit “like the old days,” with Gil, Steve & Greg, and Mick “fighting it out!” Three ex CCCC Presidents among them! Mick was on the River at 7:15 – preparing for the HCC! Go Mick!
Allan “backed up” from the last State Race yesterday – and accepting 2nd Place in his Division, at the Award Presentation – Congratulations, Allan.
Visiting Recreational Paddler from Newy, Robyn was suitably impressed with the venue.
Andrew is “resuming,” and performed pretty well, despite being “inconvenienced” by a fishing boat wake!
A great day – much “catching up” and “current affairs!”
Preparations are “on track” for the 30km Van Stappen Trophy.
